New Year's Week photos

For a week over New Year's, the kids and I went down to Grandma and Grandpa's house in Champaign.  Our trip was extended a few days due to weather, but we had a lot of fun while we were there visiting with family.  Here are some favorite pictures from the trip.

Making candy with his new alien dissection kit (Thank you Aunt Bev and Uncle Lanny!)

Bleh!  Lung bugs!  (Gummy worms)

Ice skating with Mom for the very first time!

Wesley zooming by with help from the walkers.  (In past years, we'd taken Wesley ice skating before but we'd never had access to these walkers.  They were awesome for the kids' balance.)

Grandpa, Wesley, and Uncle Mark (with Claire and Mom behind)

Taking a break to rest her feet.

Playing in the basement fort that Uncle Mark made for the kids.

Watching her ball go down the lane.

Grandpa and Wesley waiting their turn.

Ready to bowl with Great Grandpa's ball.

Trying out the Wii with cousins (and Mom)
The two youngest eating a snack and watching the other kids playing Wii.

Trying on his new tae kwon do uniform (He's had 6-7 classes already and loves it!)
