Coloring Easter Eggs

We had some friends (John and Ericka) over for dinner and they brought an Easter egg coloring kit and eggs with them. Wesley had fun plunking the eggs in the colored water, but had almost as much fun just spinning the eggs on the table and eating the one he broke.

Worm gets a hat

A video from this weekend where Wesley has decided that his worm needs a hat.

Wesley's talking more

Here's an example of how chatty Wesley has gotten over the last few weeks. This video is from the 13th (weekend before last). Granted he is fascinated with the TV (which we try to avoid, if possible), but the song he starts singing at the end of the video is the song we sing every time to start music class. Carolinka is a little girl in his class that Wesley loves to talk about.

Another worm ride

Here's Wesley playing on his worm toy again.

Snow fort video

Here's Wesley (in February) playing in his snow fort with Daddy.

First worm ride

Here's Wesley riding the worm toy he got for Christmas from Uncle Lanny, Aunt Bev, and Cousin Emily.

Another Xmas movie

Almost every night that we were in Kansas for Christmas, Wesley wanted to say goodnight to the stuffed animals in Aunt Emily's room. Here's a really cute video of him kissing them all goodnight.

Christmas dancing

I realized that I hadn't uploaded movies from the video camera for months now and thought I better post some of the best ones so other people could share.

Here's one of Wesley dancing in the kitchen at Grandma and Grandpa Cowles' house at Christmas.

First zoo trip of 2010

Wesley, Daddy, and I went to the Philadelphia zoo this past weekend. It was the first time we'd hit temperatures in the 50s so far this year, so we couldn't pass it up. Evidently, lots of other people had the same idea, but it was still fun. We invited Barb (a post-doc on our floor) and her daughter Karolinka to join us. Karolinka and family are also in our music class, so she and Wesley get to spend a lot of time together.

Daddy and Wesley checking out a snake, turtle, or something in the Reptile House.

More turtle and crocodile gazing. Karolinka is in the purple flowered jacket. Barb is on the left.

Watching the snow leopard pace the fence. He's usually fast asleep on a rock, so this was a nice treat for us to see him up and about.

Fascinated by the leopard.

Posing for the camera.

We took a brief stop at the zoo's indoor playground (the Treehouse) to let them run around a little bit more on their own. Here are some pictures with the giant flower chair.
