June Visitors

Look how high I can hold my head!

At my first baseball game.  The Trenton Thunder (Yankees double A Team) beat the Erie SeaWolves (Detroit Tigers) 6-2.  I almost caught a t-shirt from the mascot Boomer.  A man in the section next to ours got nailed by a line drive foul ball, which stressed out Mom for awhile.  Then, we moved to some open seats behind home plate (and the safety screen) and she felt better.

Me and my uncle Mark.  I was sleeping so he felt comfortable holding me.  He makes a good bed. (So does Grandpa Pataky!)

Bathtime again!  I love my baths now and even kick a little bit to splash some water around.

Lounging with Grandpa Pataky.

My Daddy Rocks!

Charles and Wesley on their 1st Father's Day together.  (Wesley is wearing a onesie that says "My Daddy Rocks".  It's too big for him still, but it seemed so appropriate for Sunday.

Another Father's Day picture

Propped up and looking stylish in his overalls.

Tiny hand holding Mom's finger

Doing a little tummy time.  Which he hates, by the way.  He'll happily hold up his head when you have him on your shoulder, but he hates being flat on the floor on his stomach.  We're working on it though.

Wesley had his 2 month doctor's appointment today.  He got 5 vaccines (one oral, four shots). Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!  Poor kid.  He was crying so hard he got red splotches around his eyes.  Of course, it only took the first shot to make him cry that much, so I guess it didn't really hurt too much to add the other three.  He's been pretty drowsy all day, but not nearly as crabby as I had expected.  Maybe that's to come tonight.

Also, for those of you keeping track.  Wesley is still in the 90th percentile for weight, weighing in at 14 lbs 1 oz.  But, he's now off the charts in height, a whopping 25.5 inches (that's up 2.5 inches since his one month visit).  We thought he was getting longer, but Wow!  Kind of surprising if you consider his parents' heights....

Progress towards a smile

"I'm looking the fan.  I don't feel like having my pictures taken."

"Fine.  I'll look at the camera, but I'm not going to smile."

"All right.  Maybe a little one.  I'll add some tongue for character."

"Aren't I the cutest?"

Sleepy happy baby

Sleeping on mom's shoulder after dinner

Sleeping with Aunt Ann before she had to go home

In his super cute hat.  (It's too big, but I couldn't resist putting it on him anyway)

Smiling for the camera
